1. Service Description
Road2Air provides premium transportation services from Kitchener-Waterloo/Cambridge (KWC) and Brampton to Toronto Pearson International Airport (YYZ) and select Ontario destinations. We offer three distinct services:
- Premium Private Ride to Pearson (โ๏ธ): Exclusive, door-to-door service from your home address in KWC or Brampton directly to Toronto Pearson Airport (YYZ), or return.
- Shared Ride (๐): Per-seat shuttle service from designated pickup cities (Waterloo, Kitchener, Cambridge, Brampton) to YYZ and select Ontario destinations. Fixed departure slots apply.
- Private Ride โ Any Destination (๐): Exclusive, door-to-door private service from KWC or Brampton to major Ontario cities including Windsor, London, Ottawa, Kingston, Montreal, and the GTA.
2. Booking & Payment
- All bookings must be made through our website and paid at the time of booking.
- Prices are quoted in Canadian Dollars (CAD) and include 13% HST.
- Pricing Model (Private Rides): Zone-based pricing ranging from $2.00โ$3.00/km depending on pickup zone (downtown Toronto $3/km Sienna, $2.70/km RAV4; KWC $2.00/km Sienna; Brampton Area $2.50/km Sienna, $1.70/km RAV4), plus $5.00 base fare, with a minimum fare of $50.00 (before HST). Long-distance trips (over 120km) are capped at $2.00/km Sienna, $1.70/km RAV4. A $15.00 surcharge applies for downtown Toronto dropoffs. HST (13%) added at checkout. Fare is calculated server-side using Google Maps distance data at the time of booking.
- Pricing Model (Shared Rides): Flat per-seat rate based on pickup city. Pricing subject to change โ current rates are displayed at booking.
- Payment is processed securely by Stripe Inc. Road2Air does not store credit card information.
- A booking confirmation with a reference number will be sent via SMS after successful payment.
3. Cancellation & Refund Policy
All Ride Types (Private & Shared):
- 24+ hours before scheduled departure: Full refund
- 12โ24 hours before scheduled departure: 50% refund
- Less than 12 hours before departure: No refund
- No-show: No refund
- Driver no-show: Full refund will be issued within 5 business days
To request a cancellation, please email info@road2air.to with your booking reference number.
Refunds will be processed to the original payment method within 5โ10 business days.
4. Passenger Responsibilities
- Private Rides (door-to-door): Drivers will wait a maximum of 5 minutes beyond the scheduled pickup time at your door. After 5 minutes, a waiting fee of $0.50 CAD per minute applies and will be collected in cash directly to the driver.
- Airport Pickups (YYZ โ Home): Drivers monitor flight arrival status. A complimentary waiting period of 5 minutes from actual landing time is provided. Additional waiting is billed at $0.50 CAD/minute.
- Shared Rides: Passengers must be at the designated pickup point 10 minutes before departure. The shuttle departs exactly on schedule and cannot wait for late arrivals.
- Passengers must present their booking confirmation code or reference number to the driver.
- Road2Air is not responsible for missed departures due to passenger lateness.
5. Luggage Policy
- Private Rides: Up to 3 standard bags are included in the fare. Passengers with 4 or more bags must contact us in advance to arrange accommodation.
- Shared Rides: Strictly carry-on / small bags only (1 small bag + 1 personal item) due to vehicle capacity sharing in our Toyota Sienna. Large checked bags cannot be accommodated on shared rides.
- Road2Air is not liable for loss or damage to luggage beyond reasonable care.
6. Service Modifications
Road2Air reserves the right to cancel or reschedule trips due to severe weather, road conditions, or vehicle breakdowns. In such cases, a full refund will be provided. We are not liable for missed flights or consequential damages.
7. Limitation of Liability
Road2Air's liability is limited to the fare paid for the shuttle service. We are not liable for:
- Missed flights due to traffic, weather, or other delays
- Consequential damages (hotel costs, rebooking fees, etc.)
- Loss or damage to personal belongings
8. Privacy
Your use of our service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes how we collect, use, and protect your personal information.
9. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Ontario.
